Q4.20: Does the library offer virtual reference? - YES!
All libraries should answer YES.
All STLS library patrons have access to virtual reference through CCLD: https://ccld.lib.ny.us/contact-us/
Virtual reference is a method by which a library may provide reference service online. The reference transaction is a remote computer-mediated communication which also includes delivery of reference information from library staff to users who cannot access or do not want face-to-face communication. Virtual reference service is most often an extension of a library's existing reference service program.
