Press releases can be essential for promoting a new service, project or initiative. The structure of a press release can be kept very simple and should get the information across clearly and succinctly. Most press releases can follow the same template, as show below.
The goal of a press release is to gain media coverage for the release of a new service, project or initiative. It should cover who, what, where, when and why of the subject. Press releases can be distributed to local media outlets, journalist or editors, and it is an effective way to gain awareness and get the word out.
